What is Team Tips?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Team Tips lets employees receive and share digital tips as a team. Tips are split according to agreed rules: either equally or with a different weighting per job position, taking into account which members are active at the moment the tip is given.<\/p>

This way, a tip can recognise the collective effort of a shift or a department, while every member sees their own share.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The same basic process applies to both individual users and businesses. Every team has a person in charge (Leader<\/strong>). If a business prefers not to organise its teams itself, users can create them instead.<\/p>

How is each member's share calculated?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Each position is given a participation weighting, which the employee must accept. The final percentage is not necessarily fixed: it is calculated automatically from the weightings and the number of members who are active at that moment.<\/p>

Alternatively, members can agree on an equal split. When the make-up of the active team changes, the percentages are readjusted according to the agreed rules.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

To add an employee, you enter their email, department, position and the corresponding weighting. The business can optionally set a weekly schedule and shifts.<\/p>

The Leader can take part in more than one team and either receive tips or act purely as an administrator. They can also appoint another user as the new administrator.<\/p>

Only the Leader can deactivate a member. For example, if someone takes an unplanned day off, the Leader can temporarily deactivate that employee or change their shift.
